WOONSOCKET- Raymond A. Lepine, 86, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 12, 2010 at St. Antoine Residence with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Theresa F. (Jacob) Vadenais-Lepine and the late Georgette ( Morrissey) Lepine.
Born in Woonsocket on August 19, 1924, he was the son of the late Emile and Mary Rose (Pincince) Lepine.
He was the loving father of Paul Lepine and his wife, Patricia, of Woonsocket, Raymond Lepine of Woonsocket, Muriel Delaney of East Providence; step-father of Conrad Vadenais and his wife, Susan, of Millville, MA, Paulette Tondreau and her husband, Kevin of North Smithfield. He leaves 3 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Maurice Lepine of Woonsocket, Theresa Menard of Medfield, MA, Vivian Belhumeur of Connecticut, Connie Bilodeau of Scituate, RI, Lucille Aubin of Woonsocket and the late Robert Lepine.
Mr. Lepine worked for the Foxboro Company for 19 years retiring in 1985. He was a World War II U.S. Navy Veteran. He was a communicant of St. Anthony Church, a member of Crepeau Court Club and St. Joseph's Seniors. He was an avid fisherman, handyman and cared for the elderly. Devoted to his family, he will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Friday, October 15, at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM in St. Anthony Church, 128 Greene St., Woonsocket, RI. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Thursday, October 14, from 6 to 8PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
