BURRILLVILLE — Movie cameras will be rolling in Rhode Island again starting Monday when photography begins on the thriller “Tell-Tale,” according to Steven Feinberg, executive director of the Rhode Island Film and TV Office.

Based on Edgar Allen Poe’s “The Telltale Heart,” the film is produced by Ridley and Tony Scott, producers of “Gladiator” and “Top Gun,” and executive produced by Matthew Chausse and Michael Ellenberg, among others. Chausse is a native of Rhode Island.
Filming locations currently include Burrillville and Providence, and production is expected to continue through April.
Josh Lucas, who appeared in “Poseidon” and “Glory Road”; Lena Headey of television’s “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles”; and the Emmy-winning veteran actor Brian Cox are slated to star.
“Tell-Tale” is the story of a man whose newly transplanted heart leads him on a dangerous journey to find who murdered its donor.
“We are extremely excited to have such a respected team of filmmakers here in Rhode Island. It will enrich opportunities for our local crew base and talent pool while showcasing our unique locations to viewers across the globe,” Feinberg said.
The Rhode Island Film and TV Office is a division of the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts. For details, visit www.film.ri.gov.
