WOONSOCKET -- Terry’s Tire Auto Ltd. wrapped up its fifth consecutive PONY League championship with a 13-3 victory over Tyra Club.
Giovanni Torres led a 19-hit attack with a home run, two singles, a double and three RBI.
Andreas Brackett also collected three hits and knocked in two runs.
Zach Laprade also had three hits and played a solid game behind the plate. Robert Lavallee added three hits of his own for the league champions.
E.J. Torres hit a two-run homer and Jonathon Flynn shared the pitching chores, combing for eight strikeouts while allowing just three hits.
Kory Lawrence had two hits and Julian Evans contributed a single for Tyra Club.
Terry’s finished with a 19-3 season record.
