Woonsocket Tax evens city series E-mail

WOONSOCKET -- Woonsocket Tax Service exploded for 4 runs in top of sixth inning to defeat the IBPO Athletics 10-6 on Wednesday night and square the city series at 1-1.
A decisive game three will be played at 5:30 p.m. on Monday at Ayotte Field.
The Taxmen, champions of the Bernon Little League, got their game-breaking rally going when Brandon Beaudry got hit by a pitch leading off the sixth inning. Matt Letourneau then reached on an error and Jalen Abney delivered a run-scoring single to break a 6-6 tie.
Kevin Lapierre relieved David Rodriguez and  issued a walk to Evan Masse. Aaron Hubert laced a 2-run double  to make score 9-6. Nate Kane completed the scoring with an RBI single.
Josh Trinidad was solid on mound for the Taxmen, striking out 10 batters. David Rodriguez suffered the loss after relieving Jorge Cruz, who had six strikeouts for the A’s.
Josh Trindad, Josh Cote and Aaron Hubert all had solid games hitting for Taxmen. Victor Hunt,
Brandon Rainville and Kevin Lapierre had big hits for the Athletics.
