Police arrest 8 after breaking up kegger E-mail

BLACKSTONE — Eight people, including three female juveniles, were arrested Friday evening after police broke up a backyard keg party on Rathbun Street.

Police received an anonymous tip on Friday around 9:28 p.m., reporting that there was a party with minors in attendance at 680 Rathbun St., a tenement house next to Henry’s Auto Parts.
The caller stated that “the kids are too young” to attend the gathering, according to police reports.
Police immediately responded to the residence, where they discovered several juveniles and a beer keg.
Three female teenagers, including a 16 year old from Blackstone and two 16 year olds from Bellingham, were arrested and each charged with possession of liquor, person under age 21.
All of the juveniles were returned to the custody of their parents. They will receive a summons to appear in court at a later date.
A tenant of the residence, Aaron C. Drinkwater, 24, of 680 Rathbun St., Apt. 2, was arrested and charged with selling, delivering liquor to a person under age 21.
The following were also arrested and each charged with possession of liquor, person under age 21: 17 year old Kurstyn Prior of 17 Deerfield Lane, Bellingham; Devon Daigneault of 285 Forest Grove Ave., Wrentham, who turned 18 years old on Saturday; and Mitchell Wilhelm, 17, of 252 Village St., Wrentham.
Shayla M. Marshalsea, 17, of 12 Bliss Road, Bellingham, was also arrested and charged with possession of liquor, person under age 21. Marshalsea was also wanted on a warrant at the time of her arrest.
Responding to the residence were Blackstone police officers Mathew Mantoni, Joshua Holland, Daniel Giardino, David Blanchette and Sgt. Richard Ryan.
