UXBRIDGE — Two local teens were each charged with a long list of traffic violations Monday after they were caught riding dirtbikes on a public roadway, police said.

Officers on dirt bikes apprehended the duo after a chase Monday evening around 5 p.m. on the local Blackstone Street.
Eric W. Small, 18, of 1A Nelson St., Upton, Mass., was charged with operating a recreational vehicle on a public way, failing to stop for police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failing to stop for a stop sign.
Small was also charged with marked lanes violation, failing to use care in passing, passing in a no passing zone, passing in same lane, passing not sufficiently to the left, willfully obstructing a motor vehicle while passing and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
Police charged David P. Limanek, also 18, of 48 William Ward St., with operating a recreational vehicle on a public way, failing to stop for police, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to stop for a stop sign and marked lanes violation.
He was also charged with failure to use care in passing, passing in a no passing zone, passing in same lane, passing not sufficiently to the left, willfully obstructing a motor vehicle while passing and operating a motor vehicle without a license.
The arresting officer for both suspects was Gregory Bach, who was assisted by Officer Kevin Sullivan and Sgt. Tara McCrohan.
Both Small and Limanek have been released on bail pending arraignments in Uxbridge District Court.
