BURRILLVILLE – Freshman frontcourt player Kailey Fugere scored 16 points, collected 7 rebounds and made 4 steals on Friday night while leading Woonsocket to a 66-36 victory over Burrillville.
Brooke Coderre added 17 points and doled out 5 assists for the Novans, who improved to 10-1 in Division II action.
Jen Kent led the Broncos with 10 points.

Hope outlasts Davies, 43-24
PROVIDENCE --- Davies Voc-Tech struggled offensively in the second half of its battle with first-place Hope High on Friday afternoon, and the Patriots found themselves on the losing end of a 43-24 verdict in Division III action at the Blue Wave’s gym.
Jasmine Santos and Mary Gipson each tossed in eight points for the Patriots, who only trailed by nine (25-16) at the break.
The loss was the fourth in the last five games for Davies, which is 3-6 in the division and 3-8 overall. Hope is 8-0 in the division.

CF scores 41-11 triumph
CENTRAL FALLS --- Valerie Biascochea and Jenny Gonzalez celebrated Central Falls High’s ‘Senior Night’ with strong performances for their team in the Warriors’ 41-11 victory over Juanita Sanchez on Friday night in their Division III matchup.
Biascochea ripped down a dozen rebounds and Gonzalez scored eight points for the Warriors, who improved to 9-1 in the division and 12-3 overall.

Mounties outscore Smithfield
SMITHFIELD --- Maria Saia filled in admirably at center and recorded 16 points and 16 rebounds for Mount St. Charles Academy on Friday night in the Mounties’ 56-49 victory over Division II-North foe Smithfield High at the Sentinels’ gym.
MSC center Nicole Turcotte scored nine points before suffering an injury midway through the first half and leaving the contest, but Saia helped pick up the slack and spark her team to its 11th division victory in 12 games.
The Sentinels, who are 10-3 in the division, received 13 points from Colleen Brague, 10 from Syeda Menebhi, and nine from Angelica D‘Andrea.
