Lady Broncos rout Fatima E-mail

BURRILLVILLE – A totally dominating second half enabled Burrillville High to earn its second victory of the season with a 52-21 decision over non-league foe Our Lady of Fatima High on Monday night.
Tied at 17 at halftime, the Broncos allowed the Tigers just one field and a pair of free throws the final 16 minutes. Madi Royer was the biggest star offensively for the Broncos. She scored 11 of her game-high 15 points in the second half.
Sarah Williams also netted eight points for the winners and Kalli Hayter tied a career-high with seven points.
Burrillville (2-15 overall) travels to Scituate on Friday in a Division II-North contest.

CUMBERLAND – Cumberland High had three of its players in double digits, but it wasn’t enough in a 71-54 setback to visiting Cranston West High on Monday night.
Kelsey Cahill tossed in 17 points, Kayleigh Guyer netted 15 and Steph Riberio chipped in 13 for the Clippers, who are now 2-10 in Division I-North.

PAWTUCKET – St. Raphael Academy put up a good fight against Division I powerhouse Bay View Academy, but eventually dropped a 53-44 decision Monday night.
Christina Hopper scored 18 points and had 12 rebounds for the Saints, who are 4-8 in I-North. Sharae Hall chipped in 15.
