WOONSOCKET — A Blackstone woman faces one count of possession of stolen property after police found over a dozen stolen computers, GPS units and radar detectors  in her car, they said.

Police arrested Alexa Page, 19, of 10 David Drive, after stopping her car on the Truman Bypass shortly before 11 a.m. Friday, said Detective Lt. Eugene Jalette, spokesman for the Woonsocket Police Department.
Police initially stopped Page because her car fit the description of a vehicle in which a woman and several males were seen stashing what looked like a machine gun, wrapped inside a blanket, at World War II Veterans Memorial State Park, said Jalette.
About a half-hour after a be-on-the-lookout alert was issued for the red Ford Escort, Patrolman Thomas Beargeon spotted the car in the Fairmount section. Beargeon and other officers later pulled the car over and removed the occupants near the Bernon Street Bridge in “felony car-stop fashion,” said Jalette.
There were five people in the vehicle, including Page, who was driving, a 20-year-old man and three juvenile males. As they searched the vehicle, police found a paintball gun that Jalette described as an “assault rifle lookalike.”
Police also located roughly 15 computers, radar detectors, GPS units and other electronic items, Jalette said. Police charged Page after one Dell laptop was linked to a house break in Bellingham.
“The investigation is continuing on the remaining items,” said Jalette. “Do we think they're stolen? Yes, we do.”
In addition to  possession of stolen property, Page is wanted on a Bellingham police warrant for breaking and entering, Jalette said.
Police questioned the males in the car but all were later released without charges. Page remained in the police lockup as of press time and was scheduled to appear for arraignment in front of a justice of the peace Friday night.
