Terry's Tire wins PONY opener |

WOONSOCKET -- Terry’s Tire Auto Ltd. began its quest for a sixth straight PONY League championship with an 11-1 win over Tyra Club earlier this week.
Brandon Rainville pitched a one-hitter and struck out seven batters for the winners. He also led a 14-hit attack with two singles. Zach Laprade added two doubles and a single while Jonathan Flynn belted a two-run homer.
Nick Rainville got the winners off to a fast start with a two-run single. Andrea Brackett, Jesse Gingras and Jeremy Comastra all chipped in with hits for Terry’s.
Jermaine Lopez had the lone hit for Tyra Club.
