Police search for armed bank robbery suspect E-mail

BELLINGHAM — Police are searching for a white male in connection with an armed robbery that occurred Thursday morning at the Milford National Bank and Trust.

According to police, a white male in his 30s or 40s entered the Hartford Avenue bank around 10:30 a.m.
He showed a handgun and fled the area, according to reports. It is unknown if he left with any money.
Police describe the suspect as a white heavyset male, weighing possibly 300 pounds, with a little facial hair. He was wearing baggy blue jeans, a gray hooded sweatshirt and

“He is considered armed and dangerous,” said Bellingham police dispatcher Stephen Daigle.
Police were searching the areas of Hartford Avenue and Maple Street for several hours. As of Thursday afternoon, no arrests had been made.
