CUMBERLAND- William E. Cavanaugh, 84, of Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010. He was the husband of the late Doris (Lustenberger) Cavanaugh.
He was a Navy Veteran of World War II. Mr. Cavanaugh was the co-owner of Tap Auto Service, with Aldor St. Germain, for forty five years, retiring in 1996.
He is survived by his daughter, Patricia Gould and her husband Carl of Lincoln, his brother, Thomas Cavanaugh of Las Vegas, NV, his grandson, Scott Gould and his great granddaughter, Kylee Gould, both of Cumberland. He was also the brother of the late Claire Briere, Rita LaFlamme and Lavona Wilkes.
