William L. Krapohl
BELLINGHAM- William L. Krapohl, 83, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 24, 2010 at home with family by his side. He was the beloved husband for 55 years of Jean A. (Hooper) Krapohl.
Born in Dedham, MA on February 12, 1927, he was the son of the late William H. and Helen (Francke) Krapohl.
He was the loving father of Sandra Connors of Nottingham, NH, Nancy Lavallee and her husband, Keith, of Harrisville, RI, Patricia Krapohl of Newburyport, MA and the late Mary Krapohl; his cherished 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was the brother of Richard and Robbie Krapohl, Helen Haverty and the late Jeanne Crawford.
A resident of Bellingham for 50 years formerly of Dedham, MA and worked at General Motors in Framingham for 27 years until retiring in 1991. He was a World War II U.S. Army Infantry Veteran and received the Army of Occupational Medal, the World War II Victory Medal and was a lifetime member of the V.F.W. Post 7272 of Bellingham. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Funeral will be held on Friday, October 29, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 South Main St., Bellingham, MA. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland, RI. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours.
