William T. Egan

OKEECHOBEE, FL- William T. Egan, age 66, died suddenly at his residence in Okeechobee, FL on Sept. 18, 2010.
Born June 05, 1944 in Woonsocket, RI he lived in North Smithfield, RI until he moved to Key West, Fl in 1989.
He worked for the Key West Dept. of Transportation until retiring to Lake Okeechobee in November of 2009. William was a member of the Teamsters, Masonic Lodge, as well as an active member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary.
Survivors include his children; Laurie A. Egan of Woonsocket, Michael S. Egan of Jamestown, Julie S. Egan of Woonsocket and daughter-in-law Michele C. Egan of Jamestown. He was the grandfather of Ryan P. Egan, of Woonsocket, Justin M. Egan, of Woonsocket residing in Kansas, Fraser A. Coleman of Woonsocket residing in Boston, and Casey S. Egan and Molly E. Egan of Jamestown. He was the brother of Ann M. Gagnon of Jamestown and Charles F. Egan of No. Lauderdale, FL and had numerous cousins.
William was preceded in death by his parents; Charles A. Egan and Kathleen R. Kennedy of Jamestown.
Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 30th at St. Charles Church, No. Main St, Woonsocket, RI. Internment will be at St. Mark's Cemetery, North Main Rd. Jamestown, RI at 12:00 pm. Relatives and friends are welcome.
