Alice M. Laferriere

WOONSOCKET- Alice M. (Farland)Laferriere 88, of Manila Ave. died Friday November 15, 2013. She was the wife of the late Henry Laferriere.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Alma (Cayer) Farland. Alice was a textile worker in area textile mills for many years she also worked for Texas Instruments. She was the 1939 Miss American Legion, Belhumeur Duhamel Post.
She is survived by ten nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by her siblings, Edgar, Albert, Raymond, and Eugene Farland, Rina Marcel, and Edna Aubin.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11:00 AM in St. Joesph's Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be held in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home. Please visit
