LINCOLN- Olive A. (Mulcahy) Richard, 82 of Albion passed away Monday at home. She was the wife of the late Roger Richard.
Born in North Smithfield, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Blunt) Mulcahy. She resided in the Albion section of Lincoln for over 60 years.
Mrs. Richard was employed as an assistant dog trainer for her son's business for many years.
Olive most loved spending time with her cherished family. She was an avid football and baseball fan.
She leaves her children, David Richard and his wife Nancy of Cumberland, Kenneth Richard and his wife Stacey of North Smithfield, and Sandra Chianese of Woonsocket; her sister Mary Lemire of Woonsocket, and her brother Francis Mulcahy of Holliston, MA; five granddaughters, Cheryl, Jennifer, Lindsay, Sarah and Irie; three great-grandchildren, Ava, Ryan and Lexington; as well several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in the St. Ambrose Church, School Street, Albion. Burial will be private.
Visiting Hours will be held Friday from 5-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
