BELLINGHAM- Theresa M. (Antaya) Bokoski, 86, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at Milford Regional Medical Center with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife for 64 years of Francis J. Bokoski.
Born in Slatersville, RI on October 2, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Narcisse and Rose Alba Antaya.
She was the loving mother of Darlene Pare who was her caregiver of Bellingham, MA, Diane Kulick of Holiday, FL, and Debra Hurst and her husband, Francis of Woonsocket, RI; and leaves her cherished six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Roland Antaya of Riverside, RI and the late Leo, Armand, Francis, Helen, Eva, Rita, Alice, and Evelyn. She also leaves a devoted lifelong friend Marlene Gagnon of Cumberland, RI.
Mrs. Bokoski was a longtime resident of Bellingham and formerly of Slatersville. She was a communicant of St. Theresa Church and was an avid bingo player. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 4th at 9:30AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting time is from 9:30 to 10:30AM at the funeral home prior to Mass. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial donations made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472 or would be appreciated.
