WOONSOCKET- Stephen Hoyceanyls 88, died Tuesday, November 26, in Oakland Grove Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of Irene (Dugas) Hoyceanyls. Together they celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on November 24 of this year.
Mr. Hoyceanyls was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Mikeal and Amelia (Kluchevitch) Hoyceanyls.
He was a WWII and Korean War veteran serving in the US Navy. Mr. Hoyceanyls was a foreman for the A. Bonfitti Co. before retiring in 1990.
Besides his wife, he is survived by a son; Stephen R. Hoyceanyls of Plainville, MA, three daughters; Linda Grondine, Carol Rice and Sharon Fernandes all of Woonsocket, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late John Hoyceanyls.
His funeral with a Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday at 10:00AM in All Saints Church. Burial will follow in ST. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham.
The family will receive guests in the rear of the church beginning at 9:40AM.
