BLACKSTONE, MA- Beatrice L. (Papineau) Chubka, 71, of Micco, FL, passed away on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Sebastian River Medical Center with her loving family by her side.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on August 19, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Juliette (Isaac) Papineau.
She was the loving mother of Sandra A. Bartlett and her husband, Michael of Micco, FL, Diane M. Dulac and her companion, Edward Avilla of Middletown, RI, and the late Michael R. Chubka and Susan A. Chubka. She leaves her cherished grandchildren Michael Giangregorio, Amanda Chubka, Kassie Podsiadlo and her great-granddaughter Faith Lavoie. She was the sister of Adelard Papineau of Woonsocket, RI and the late Alfred Papineau and Theresa Castonguay. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A resident of Micco, FL for the past year, formerly of Blackstone, Bellingham and Woonsocket where she was raised and attended school. She had worked at the U.S. Rubber Shop, Finkelstein's and volunteered at local soup kitchens and the Blackstone Senior Center. She was a member of the Woonsocket Elks Lodge #850. She was an avid Pitch Player. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 5th at 7:00PM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting hours are from 4 to 7PM prior to service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will be private.
