WOONSOCKET- Simone G. (Duval) Harrison, 87, formerly of Kennedy Manor, passed away Sunday at the St. Antoine Residence, North Smithfield. She was the wife of the late Frederick B. Harrison.
Born in Woonsocket she was the daughter of the late Paul and Helen (Arel) Duval. She was a life-long resident of Woonsocket.
Mrs. Harrison was employed as a Floor Lady for the Narragansett Knitting Mills for over 50 years.
She was a communicant of All Saints Church, Woonsocket. She was a former officer of the Kennedy Manor Tenants Association, and often volunteered at events held there.
She leaves her son, Fred Harrison, and his wife Debra of Cumberland; her grandchildren, Kaylee Harrison of Lowell, MA and Ryan Harrison of Cumberland; her brother, Bert Duval of Manville; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Roger Duval, Don Duval, Lucille Gaudette and Yolande Provost.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Rt. 122, Cumberland.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Saint Antoine Residence 10 Rhodes Avenue, North Smithfield, RI 02896.
