BELLINGHAM- Jeannine (Lemay) Marcotte, 77, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Friday, December 6, 2013 at Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the beloved wife for 59 years of Gerald E. Marcotte.
Born in Island Pond, VT on November 22, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Pauline (Cote) Lemay.
She was the loving mother of Diane Brogan and her husband, Jack of Acton, ME, Debbie Marcotte and her fiancé, Tom of Bellingham, MA, Darlene Kass and her husband, Joe of Windham, ME, Gerald G. Marcotte and his wife, Kelly of Cumberland, RI, and Dana Ebbs of Woonsocket, RI. She leaves her cherished ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Paul Lemay of Vermont, Bernie Lemay of South Dakota, Emily Morin of Tennessee, and Delores Lapierre of Newport, VT.
Jeannine was a resident of Bellingham for 50 years formerly of Barton, VT where she was raised. She worked at Waters in Milford for 27 years until retiring in 2011. Jeannine was an avid bingo player, a candlepin bowler as was her father, an avid reader and enjoyed playing horseshoes. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed by her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 14th at 12:00 Noon at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Visiting time from 10:30AM to 12:00 Noon prior to service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 9 Erie Drive, Suite 101, Natick, MA 01760 or www.lls.org/ma would be appreciated.
