BURRILLVILLE- Wrenn, Theodore F. "Ted", 80, of Pascoag, RI, formerly of Woonsocket, passed away November 30, 2013 at Bayberry Commons Nursing Home in Pascoag,.
He was the husband of Helen Lapierre-Wrenn, and the late Pauline M. (Proulx) Wrenn.
He was born June 8, 1933 in Woonsocket, a son of the late Stanley K. & Lena (Hebert) Wrenn.
Ted worked for the City of Woonsocket Water Treatment Plant. He also worked as a truck driver for the former Leo's Bakery for numerous years, and Raytheon Corp. Ted was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He lived most of his life in Woonsocket. He was a member of the Woonsocket Elk's Lodge, the Mason's, and the Knights of Columbus and was also a reader for Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church.
He is survived by five daughters, Debra Lanctot, Cathy Moritz, Jo-Anne Lancia, Karen Wrenn, and Gail Durand, seven grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Carol A. Roy, a niece Lisa A. Roy, both of who took care of him during his illness, and a brother, Richard Wrenn.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 8am from the Keene-Brown Funeral Home, 445 Greenville Rd., North Smithfield, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9am in Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Park Ave., Woonsocket. Burial, with military honors, will follow in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham, MA. Calling hours will be held Friday from 4pm until 7pm.
