NORTH KINGSTOWN- Christine F. (Berard) Mulneix, 60, of North Kingstown, RI, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2014. She was the beloved wife of Bruce W. Mulneix.
Born in Woonsocket, RI on December 23, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Albert F. and Renee F. (Keegan) Berard, Sr.
She was the loving mother of David P. Masters & Anna Cogean of Woonsocket, RI and the late John P. Masters, and the step mother of Marissa Ruth Estaleen Mulneix of Warwick, RI and Peggy Oliver of Johnston, RI. She leaves her cherished grandson Jonathan Riley. She leaves her brothers, Arthur R. Berard and his wife Denise, Albert F. Berard and his wife, Barbara all of Woonsocket, RI. Also leaves her father in law, Bruce A. Mulneix of Viena, West Virginia and her uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A resident of North Kingstown since 1989 formerly of Woonsocket, Christine was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Milford, MA Class of 1971. She then attended CCRI and Johnson & Wales graduating in 1988. Christine was Office Manager at Stergis Windows & Doors of Attleboro, MA.
Christine loved to dance, party, hunt, fish, shoot archery and was a Rhode Island State Champion BHFS for 2 years, she played horseshoes playing in a league at Club Jorge in Coventry and was an avid back yard mechanic. Christine also served in the Civil Air Patrol. She loved her cocker spaniel "Lady Diana". Devoted to her family and friends, Christine will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Thursday, January 9th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. James Church, 33 Division St., Manville, RI. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, January 8th from 5 to 8PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flower donations in memory of Christine Mulneix to the Hasbro Children's Hospital, Physical Therapy Department, 593 Eddy St., Providence, RI 02903 would be appreciated.
