UXBRIDGE- Yvonne M. (Gonthier) Pepin, 91, of Quaker Highway, Uxbridge, formerly a 50 year resident of 47 Main St., Blackstone, died January 2, 2014 in Beaumont Rehab and Nursing Center, Northbridge, MA. She was the wife of the late Onesiphore Pepin. Born in Somersworth, NH, she was the daughter of the late Archille and Amanda (Fortier) Gonthier.
Mrs. Pepin was a homemaker, but had previously worked for several area factories and Gaskill Nursing Home. She enjoyed crosswords, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards and spending time with friends and family.
She is survived by three sons, Roger and Raymond Pepin, both of Blackstone, MA and Dennis Pepin of Bellingham, MA, two daughters, Lorraine Methot of Woonsocket and Patricia Maloney of Millville, two sisters, Helen Auclair of Manchester, NH and Arlene Bean of Somersworth, NH, five grandchildren, Brian Maloney of Warwick, RI, Rachelle Rosario of Durham, NC, Kristen Brown of Oklahoma City, OK, Cheryl Gartland of Harrisville, RI and Ami Piscopio of Woonsocket, and five great grandchildren, Lucas, Livi, Sophia, Seamus and Evan. She was the sister of the late Roland Gonthier, Theresa Jacques and Lorraine Sheldon.
Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
