MANVILLE- Anna (Tyniak) Levy, 96, a resident of the Holiday Nursing Home and formerly of Chestnut St., Manville passed away peacefully on Monday at the Holiday.
Born: Dec. 21, 1913 in Manville, daughter of the late Paul & Catherine (Romaniczn) Tyniak, she resided in Manville all her life.
Anna was a sewer at the former Sadwin's Co. before retiring she previously was employed at other textile manufacturing Co's.
She was a communicant of St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church of Woonsocket and member of the Parish Ladies Sodality. She enjoyed knitting & reading.
She was the loving mother to Stephen P. Levy of Cumberland and Carol L. Sharples of No. Smithfield. She also was the loving grandmother to 4 granddaughters & 3 great grandchildren. She leaves a sister Helen Zadorozny of Arizona. She was the sister of the late Peter, Henry, & Stephen Tyniak and Mary Soucy.
Her Funeral will be Friday at 9:30 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave., Woonsocket with a Mass of Devine Liturgy at 10:30 A.M. in St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Church, Blackstone St., Woonsocket. Burial will be in St. Stephen's Cemetery Manville. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Thursday, (Nov. 11th) from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M.
