WOONSOCKET- Salvi, Katherine "Kathy Cakes" R., 24, of Woonsocket passed away January 5, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital.
Born in Milford, MA, she was the daughter of Ronald and Mary Louise Salvi.
Kathy LOVED her beautiful hair, getting her nails done, shopping and scrapbooking. She also enjoyed helping her dad at local flea markets. However, more than any of those things, nothing superseded her love for her son Davian. Her generous nature always allowed her to help anyone in need. The word NO was not in her vocabulary.
In addition to her parents she is survived by her son, Davian Salvi, two brothers; Michael Alec and Trent Daniel Salvi all of Woonsocket. Grandparents include, Catherine Salvi and Linda and Richard Allie. Also her five BEST friends; Vanessa, Kelsey, Jessica, Amara, Christine and many other family and friends.
Her funeral will be held Sunday, January 12 at 4:30 in the Egidio DiPardo and Sons Funeral Home, 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket RI. Calling hours will be prior from 1-4 PM. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to www.gofundme.com/TheCather ineSalviFund.
