WOONSOCKET- Guillermina (Ortiz) Torres, 74, of Front St., died at home on Monday January 6, 2014.
Born in Guayama, Puerto-Rico, daughter of the late Domicilio and Jose Fina (Ortiz) Torres.
Guillermina was a homemaker, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her four sons, Felix Colon, Edwin Colon, Julio Colon and Geraldo Colon, all of Woonsocket. Four daughters, Maria Colon, Nydia Colon, both of Woonsocket, and Gladys Colon, of Puerto Rico, and Wanda Colon, of Woonsocket. One sister Maria Torres of Woonsocket, and two brothers, Marcello and Antonio Torres of Puerto Rico. Twenty seven grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
A Funeral Home Service will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014 at 10 A.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will be in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Sunday, January 12, 2014, from 5-8 P.M.
