Icy parking lot leaves liquor truck on the rocks

BLACKSTONE — Icy conditions Friday afternoon sent a truck making a delivery to Thrifty’s Discount Liquors, at 97 Main St., sliding out of the store’s parking lot and down an embankment into the Blackstone River.

The truck had been parked and ready to unload at the time, and no one was injured in the incident.
