CUMBERLAND- Lucienne R. Simard, 87, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. She was the wife of the late Oscar "Slim" Simard.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Emma (Belleville) Dussault.
A Cumberland resident for 50 years, Lucienne enjoyed sewing, crossword puzzles, and baking delicious desserts.
She is survived by a son, David Simard of Acton, MA, three grandchildren, Christopher, Megan, and Sarah Simard, and a brother, Raymond Dussault of North Smithfield. She was the sister of the late Conrad and Roland Dussault, Violet Lavallee, and Anita Charpentier.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10am in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 3357 Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Saint Jean the Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham, MA.
