WOONSOCKET- Violet S. Frechette, 87, of Linden Ave. died peacefully January 16, 2014, at the home of her son, with her family by her side.
Born in Woonsocket, daughter of the late Jamil "James" and Mahassen "Mae" (Haddad) Doura.
Violet worked in Clerical in the Traffic Department for Dennison Manufacturing, for 22 years and also for Reliance Plastic.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one son Gary and his wife Denise Frechette, of Woonsocket, and one daughter Cheryl and her husband Michael Ippoliti, of Franklin, Ma. And her daughter -in-law Cil Frechette, of Bellingham, MA. One brother Edward Doura of North Smithfield, Two sister Dorothy Delaurier of Woonsocket, and Lorraine Doura of Woonsocket. Six grandchildren, Stephen Jr., Michael, Jessica, Kevin, Michael Jr. and Cortney. Two great grandchildren, Zachary and Elijah.
She also was the mother of the late Stephen Frechette, and sister of the late Leo and George Doura.
Her funeral will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2014, at 9:30 A.M. from the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in St. Joseph Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. Burial will be in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Tuesday morning prior to the funeral from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M.
