WOONSOCKET- Helen Milano, 71, resident of Woonsocket, passed away January 16, 2014 at the Landmark Medical Center.
She was the loving wife of 51 years to Richard Milano.
She was born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late Albert & Joan (Lareau) Catteau.
Helen was a lifelong Woonsocket resident; she was a loving homemaker who loved to take care of her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Richard J. of Woonsocket, Dennis, of Lima OH, Scott Milano of N. Providence, Kimberly, and Christopher Milano, both of Woonsocket, 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers, Robert and Kenneth Catteau, and sister, Linda Kanarian.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Maryjane Cournoyeur, Lucille DeAndrade, Ruth Laplume, and brothers, Albert and John Catteau.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 7:45pm in the Egidio DiPardo & Sons Funeral Home 75 Harris Ave., Woonsocket. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 6pm until 8pm. Flowers are omitted. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
