CRANSTON- Mattiucci, Jeanne F. (Rogers), 72, of Perennial Drive died Thursday at Steere House. She was the wife of Francis E. Mattiucci, Jr.
Born in Woonsocket, a daughter of the late William H. and Venetta M. (McCarthy) Rogers, she had lived in Cranston for the past 49 years.
Mrs. Mattiucci was a homemaker and had previously taught first grade in the Bellingham, MA Public School System. She also worked at the Assumption Church for over twenty years.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Francis E. Mattiucci III of Cranston; a daughter Mary-Ellen Russell of East Greenwich and her grandchildren, Emily, Matthew and Caitlin.
She was the sister of William H. Rogers of Woonsocket, John L. Rogers of North Smithfield, Carol R. Smith of Atlanta, GA and Ellen L. Rogers of South Kingstown.
Her funeral will be Monday at 9 AM from the Frank P. Trainor & Sons Funeral Home, 982 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mark Church, 15 Garden Ct. Cranston at 10 AM. Calling Hours Sunday 3-6 PM. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to the American Cancer Society 30 Speen Street Framingham, MA 01701 will be appreciated. Burial will be in Saint Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
