WOONSOCKET- Roland G. Bergeron 70, of Gaulin Ave., died Wednesday at Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Robert and Marie (Bourassa) Bergeron.
Roland ran Keepsake Lamination in Woonsocket for over seventeen years. From 1982 to 2000, Roland was instrumental in the fight to save the homes on Gaulin Ave.
He is survived by two sisters, Theresa C. Byron and Yvonne L. Bergeron both of Woonsocket. He was also the companion of the late Carole A. Walsh, and brother of the late Joseph "Ted" Bergeron and Jeannette Bergeron.
A committal service and burial will be held Friday at 10:30 AM in St Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. In lieu of flowers donations to Because He Lives Ministry, 323 Rathbun St. Woonsocket, RI 02895 in his memory would be appreciated.
