WOONSOCKET- Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Bolduc) Highcove of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully at R.I. Hospital on Jan. 29th with her family at her bedside. Betty was the loving wife of her husband and best friend of 43 years to Daniel Highcove.
She was the daughter of the late William & Mary (Mongeon) Bolduc.
Betty's fun loving nature always brought smiles to the faces of anyone she met. She will be missed by all who knew her. Betty was a waitress at various local restaurants until she retired to become a full time Grandmother. Betty was a person who always thought of others before herself.
Besides her husdand she leaves 3 sons, Daniel Jr. of Narragansett, RI, Jeffrey of Blackstone, MA., & Bradford of Warwick, RI. And their wives. Also a sister, Becky Toupin of Woonsocket. She is the cherished grandmother to six adorable grandchildren, Madison and Andrew of Blackstone, Julia and Claudia of Narragansett, and Brady and Abigail of Warwick. She was predeceased by her brother "Luckie" Bolduc who passed away in August 2013. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Her Funeral will be Tuesday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Church, St. Paul St. Blackstone. MA., Burial will be at the R.I. Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI. Relatives & Friends are invited. Visitation hours are Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Feb. 3rd. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the: U.R.I. Surf Program supporting disabled children. Checks can be payable to the: U.R.I. Foundation and mailed to Dr. Emily Clapham, 25 Independence Way, Kingston, RI, 02881.
