WOONSOCKET- Thomas C. Caron, 66 of Woonsocket, died February 1, 2014 in Landmark Medical Center, Woonsocket. Delivered by Santa Claus on December 25, 1947, he was the son of the late Arthur and Alice (Boulris) Caron.
Mr. Caron worked as a computer systems analyst for EMC, Hopkinton, for over twenty-one years and had previously worked for Avery Dennison for many years. A 1966 graduate of Woonsocket High School, Tom was a boots on the ground Vietnam Veteran who never spoke of his experience. He was a fan of 1950's music and dance and everyone who met him found friendship.
He is survived by his former wife, JoAnn Caron of Whitinsville, MA, a son, Shawn Caron of Johnston, a brother, Robert Caron of Newport, an older sister, Judy Bruneault of Woonsocket and twin sisters, Linda Rondeau of Woonsocket and Lois Caron of Pawtucket.
A celebration of Tom's life will be held Friday, February 7, 2014 from 4-7PM in the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket.
