WOONSOCKET- Joyce T. (Desrochers) Malboeuf 61, resident of Woonsocket, passed away February 8, 2014 at the Rhode Island Hospital in Providence.
She was born in Woonsocket, the daughter of the late Robert N. & Gloria B. (Abysalh) Desrochers.
She was the former wife of 31 years to Robert Malboeuf.
Joyce was a secretary for the CVS Co., in Woonsocket for 35 years; she was a lifelong Woonsocket resident that enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She loved cats and dogs.
She is survived by two brothers, Robert P. Desrochers , and Paul J. Desrochers, both of Woonsocket. She is also survived by two nephews, Christopher R. Desrochers of Manhattan NY., and Peter J. Desrochers (godson) of Brooklyn NY.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 5pm in the Keene-Brown Funeral Home 445 Greenville Rd. North Smithfield. Burial in St. Jean the Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham will be held privately. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 2-5pm. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to the Rhode Island SPCA 186 Amaral Street Riverside, RI 02915.
