MILFORD- Doris (Carpentier) Benjamin, 87, of Milford, MA formerly of Blackstone, MA died Friday, February 14, 2014 in Milford Care Center, Milford, MA. She was the wife of the late Bernard M. Benjamin.
She was born in Woonsocket, RI, daughter of the late Christopher and Eva (Ouellette) Carpentier.
Mrs. Benjamin worked as a line engraver at A.T. Cross in Lincoln, RI.
She is survived by two daughters: Charlotte Guevremont of Cranston, RI; Louise Worrall of Woonsocket, RI; two sons: Gerard Benjamin of North Smithfield, RI; Bernard E. Benjamin of Blackstone, MA; her special niece: Doris Auclair of Woonsocket, RI; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three brothers: Wilfred Carpentier, Alfred Carpentier and Edward Carpentier.
Mrs. Benjamin's funeral will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 9:00 am from the James E. Kellett and Son Funeral Home, 38 Main St., Blackstone, MA followed by a Mass at St. Paul's Church, St. Paul's St., Blackstone, MA. Burial will follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Gaskell St., Blackstone, MA. Calling hours are Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 5:00-8:00 pm.
