MILFORD- Nancy F. Vasile Dalpe, 77, of Milford passed away February 5, 2014 in Kindred Care, Franklin. She was the wife of the late Raymond Dalpe who died in 1997.
Nancy had been a waitress at the Paddock Restaurant for 20 years and was also a stay at home family matriarch.
Nancy was born August 10, 1936 in Milford the daughter of the late Frank and Yola (Tassone) Vasile. She was a graduate of Milford High School, class of 1953 and had been a resident of Milford for 40 years before moving to Bellingham 30 years ago.
She enjoyed floral design and trips to area flea markets.
Nancy is survived by her two sons, Michael D. and his wife Kathy Smith of Woonsocket, RI and Shawn P. and his wife Jean Smith of Milford; three daughters, Claudia A. and her husband Gary McKellick of Pascoag, RI, Veronica M. and her husband Don Shumaker of Millville, and Shirley J. and her husband Peter Foley of Walpole; her sister Elnora Rubin of Walpole; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held Wed. Feb. 19, 2014 from 5-8 PM in BUMA-SARGENT FUNERAL HOME, 42 Congress St., Milford.
Funeral services will be held Thurs. Feb. 20, 2014 at 10 AM in the funeral home.
Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Medway Rd. (Rt. 109), Milford
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Glaucoma Foundation, The Foundation of the Mass Eye & Ear Institute Inc., 243 Charles St., Boston, MA 02114.
