MENDON- Lawrence A. Reardon Jr., 93, of Mendon, formerly of Franklin died Sun. Feb.16, 2014 in the Don Orione Home, East Boston.
Mr. Reardon was employed as a Press Operator for over 44 years at the Clark-Cutler- McDermott Co. in Franklin.
He was born May 21, 1920 in Boston, son of the late Lawrence A. and Mary R. (Mucciarone) Reardon Sr. He was a graduate of Franklin High School.
Mr. Reardon enjoyed weight lifting and bicycling in his younger years. He was a former member of St. Mary's Church in Franklin where he was active in church ministries.
He is survived by many nieces, nephews, and great and great-great nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by two sisters, M. Elizabeth Thayer and Grace Pellerin and one brother, William "Bob" Reardon.
Visiting hours will be held Mon. Feb. 24, 2014 from 10-11 AM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 North Main St., Uxbridge followed by a funeral service at 11 AM in the funeral home.
Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Beaver St., Franklin.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
