BREAKING: Police investigate reported gunman at Landmark

February 20, 2014

WOONSOCKET — Police and emergency crews are surrounding Landmark Medical Center after reports of a man with a shotgun entering the hospital's emergency room sometime after 7 this evening.

Witnesses have described the man as agitated, yelling and screaming.

There have been no reports of shots fired, nor of any injuries or of hostages taken.

Cass Avenue has been closed to traffic as local and state police, firefighters and a SWAT team have responded to the scene.
