DUXBURY, MA- Eva L. (Teague) Dana, of Duxbury, died peacefully at her home on February 12th, at the age of 101.
Eva "Bunny" Dana was the beloved wife of C.Lincoln Dana MD. She is survived by her sons Jon P. Dana OD of Longmeadow, Bradford L. Dana of Elgin, Il. and her daughter, Jane Dana Vouros of Newtown, Ct. She also leaves her cherished grandson, Erik L. Dana of Longmeadow.
Eva (Bunny) was born in Beverly on February 29, 1912, graduating from Beverly High School in 1929, Posse Nissan School in 1932, and the University of Alabama in 1934 where she received a BS in Physical Education. She taught Physical Education at Kendal Hall in Bererly Farms for 2 years and then at Beverly High School for 7 years. She retired and married C. Lincoln Dana, moved to Franklin, where she lived and raised her family for 45 years, then moved to Plymouth where she lived for 10 years. She moved to Duxbury In 1997, and had been a member of the First Parish Church in Plymouth for the last 27 years.
There were no calling hours, and burial will be private. Arrangements made by the Richard Davis Funeral Homes of Plymouth and Manomet. Condolences can be made at richarddavisfuneralhome.com
