WOONSOCKET- Louise Z. (Bici) Talabac, 99, of Poplar St. formerly of Prospect St.
Died Friday February 21, 2014 in the Woonsocket Health and Rehabilitation Center, with her family by her side. She was the wife of the late Vanghel Talabac.
Born in Korce, Albania, daughter of the late Ilia and Hrisula (Rigea) Bici.
Mrs. Talabac worked as a wool sorter for the former Machtaz Mills, in Millville, Ma. for several years.
She was a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of St. John's Romanian Orthodox Church.
She is survived by one son, Christy and his wife Betty Talabac, of Woonsocket, one daughter, Catherine and her husband James Jiambazi, of Bridgeport Conn. One brother, George Bici, of New York. Five grandchildren, Nicholas, Ted, Christopher, Kevin and Melissa. Six great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jaden, Sydney, Matthew, Kyle, Tyler.
She was also the mother, of the late Jennie Gray and sister of the late Modi and Katherine Bici.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday February 26, 2014, at 10 A.M. in the S. DiPardo Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, 1583 Diamond Hill Rd. Woonsocket, with a Service at 11 A.M. in St. John Romanian Orthodox Church, Elbow St. Woonsocket, R.I. Burial will be in St. John Romanian Orthodox Cemetery Mendon Rd. Woonsocket, R.I. Relatives and friends are invited; calling hours are Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations, to St. John Romanian Orthodox Church, 501 East School St. Woonsocket, R.I. 02895 and to Woonsocket Health Center Activity Fund., 262 Popular St. Woonsocket, R.I. 02895.
