BELLINGHAM- Jeannine L. (Bouvier) Laferriere, 83, of Bellingham, MA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at St. Antoine Residence with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late Normand A. Laferriere.
Born in Bellingham on April 14, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Conrad and Christiana (Gosselin) Bouvier.
She was the loving mother of Robert N. Laferriere and his wife, Doreen of Harborside, ME, Jane M. Barchiesi and her husband, Rene, Sr. of Woonsocket, RI, Nancy J. Vallee and her husband, Stephen of Bellingham, MA and the late Susan Brown; and leaves her cherished 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She is the sister of Anita Tsimortis and Constance Ubaldini both of Woonsocket, RI, Helen Collamati of Pittsfield, ME and the late Pauline Ladouceur and Florence Rotatori.
Mrs. Laferriere had worked at CVS for many years until retiring and previously worked at Almacs and Collamati's Market. She was a communicant of Assumption Church. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Devoted to her family, she will be greatly missed.
Funeral will be held on Monday, March 10th at 9:00AM from CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00AM at St. Theresa Church, 630 Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Interment will follow at St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Bellingham. Visiting hours are on Sunday, March 9th from 2 to 5PM at the funeral home.
