BELLINGHAM- Vivian M. (Dumont) DeLucia, 69, of Bellingham, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 11, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence with family by her side.
Born in Pawtucket, RI on August 10, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Constance (Roy) Dumont.
She was the loving mother of Ralph DeLucia and his wife, Patricia, of Franklin, MA, Lisa Beausoleil and her husband, John, of North Smithfield, RI, Michael DeLucia and his wife, Kamolsawasd, of Woonsocket, RI, Jason DeLucia and his wife, Kim, of Blackstone, MA, Rachel and Shawn Jackson of Chepachet, RI, and the late Mark Allen DeLucia; also her 10 cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Lauren, Jenna, Anthony, Emily, Angela, Cole, Luke, Aaron and Domenic. She was the sister of Ronald Dumont of Rehobeth, MA, Cynthia Young of Creedmoor, NC and John Dumont of Lincoln, MA. Also, she leaves her former husband, Ralph DeLucia of Franklin, MA.
She was a resident of Bellingham for 46 years formerly of Pawtucket and South Attleboro where she was raised. Vivian was an executive secretary at Thermo Environmental of Franklin retiring in 2005 and previously worked for many years at American Medical Response of Natick. She was a gifted artist, known for her comfort food and cakes. Known as "Mom" to all the lives whom she touched, she will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever.
Visiting hours are on Friday, November 19, from 5 to 8PM at CARTIER'S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA. Funeral will be held on Saturday, November 20 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM at St. Blaise Church, 1158 So. Main St., Bellingham. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, we welcome you to bring your favorite home cooked dish to celebrate Vivian's life at the Elks Club, 380 Social St., Woonsocket, RI after the Funeral Mass.
