BLACKSTONE- Hannah G. (Arnold) Fredette Austin, 82, passed away at Milford Regional Hospital on Wed. March 12.
She is survived by her dear friend Rebecca Bousquet, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Roland Victor Fredette in 1965; her second husband Fredrick M. Austin in 1972, and 2 brothers; Raymond C. Arnold, and Herman D. Arnold.
Born in Bellingham on October 30, 1931 she was the daughter of George and Leona (Thormann) Arnold and lived in the Bellingham/Blackstone area all her life.
Hannah was a member of St. Augustine's church and belonged to St. Monica's Guild. She enjoyed arts and crafts including making wreaths at Christmas time and gardening. Hannah was a sweet woman and will be missed by all who knew her.
Her funeral will be held on Sat. March 15. from Tancrell-Jackman Funeral Home, 35 Snowling Rd., Uxbridge with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Augustine Church, 17 Lincoln St., Millville. Burial will follow in St. Jean the Baptist Cemetery in Bellingham. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Sat. March 15 from 9:30-10:30. To leave a condolence message for the family, please visit
