WOONSOCKET- Ann E. Paquette, 77, of Woonsocket died Wednesday morning at home surrounded by her family. She was the loving wife of Roger A. Paquette. They were married on October 12, 1957.
Born in Woonsocket she was a daughter of the late Alderic and Eva (Fortier) Denomme. She was a lifelong resident of the city.
Mrs. Paquette was employed as a stitcher for several area sewing shops. She also worked at U.S. Rubber, Royal Robes and in the housekeeping department at Mt. St. Francis Health Center before retiring.
Ann was a talented seamstress and enjoyed bowling, bingo and puzzles. Anne was a devoted wife and mother. She cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother.
In addition to her husband of 56 years she is survived by a son Roger A. Paquette, Jr. of Johnston, two daughters Brenda Rossi and Barbara Sheehan, and her husband Russell, all of Woonsocket. She was the sister of Arthur Denomme and Cora Fournier both of North Smithfield and the late Jerome and Norman Denomme, Beatrice Gauthier and Irene Marion. She is also survived by four grandchildren Kerron and Jamie Rossi, Elizabeth Audet and Stephanie Sheehan, two great-grandchildren Austin Pacheco and Aubrey Ganko and many nieces and nephews and their families.
Her funeral service will be Monday at 11:00 am in the Menard-Lacouture Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. James Cemetery, Manville. Visiting hours are Monday morning from 9:00-11:00 am prior to services. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, RI Chapter, 245 Waterman St. Suite 306 Providence, RI. 02906.
