NORTH SMITHFIELD- Jeannette (Brunelle) Armstrong, 78, of Mendon Rd., died March 18, 2014 at home. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Armstrong.
Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Joseph L. and Simone Brunelle.
Mrs. Armstrong was a homemaker, but in her later years, she worked as an Activity Aid for the Woonsocket Health Center. Jeannette was an avid card player and was a part of several Pitch leagues.
She is survived by four sons, Arthur Armstrong of Harrisville, Kenneth and Richard Armstrong, both of Madison, ME and David Armstrong of Woonsocket, a daughter, Anne Marie St. Laurent of No. Smithfield, four brothers, Donald Brunelle of Deltona, FL, Raymond Brunelle of Milford, MA, Roger Brunelle of Indianapolis, IN and Normand Brunelle of Hawaii, four sisters, Lorraine Choquette of Kissimmee, FL, Therese Kane of Charlotte, NC, Rose Woods of No. Smithfield and Jeannie Paquette of Woonsocket, eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Cheryl Martley and sister of the late and Robert Brunelle and Pauline Armstrong.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11AM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 63 Church St., No. Smithfield. Burial will be private. Calling hours are omitted. Arrangements under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St, Woonsocket.
