UXBRIDGE- Camilla C. (Malisz) Czupryna, 95, of Uxbridge passed away on Sunday March 23, 2014 in the Lydia Taft House in Uxbridge. She was the wife of the late Stanislaus H. Czupryna who died in 1966.
Mrs. Czupryna had been employed in the cafeteria at the former Draper Corp. in Hopedale and had previously worked at Scott’s Mill and J.S.B. Yarns at Wacantuck Mill, both in Uxbridge.
A lifelong resident of Uxbridge, Camilla was born on Dec. 25, 1918 the daughter of the late Antony and Mary (Tokanski) Malisz and had attended Uxbridge schools. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and gardening and was a member of the Hopedale Community House rug hooking group.
Mrs. Czupryna is survived by two sons; Robert L. and his wife Betsy J. Czupryna and Stanley T. and his wife Joanne C. Czuprnya all of Uxbridge; one daughter; Mary A. and her husband Walter L. MacDonald of Uxbridge; 9 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Teddy Malisz and John Malisz and one sister, Helen Martika.8.
Visiting hours will he held on Thurs. March 27, 2014 from 5-8 PM in the BUMA FUNERAL HOME, 101 North Main St. (Rt. 122), Uxbridge.
Funeral services will be held Fri. March 28, 2014 at 9 AM from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Saviour's Parish Polish National Catholic Church, 500 Smithfield Rd., Woonsocket, RI.
Burial will follow in the Polish National Catholic Church of our Savior Cemetery, Farm St., Blackstone, MA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Uxbridge Senior Center, 36 South Main St., Uxbridge, MA 01569.
