WOONSOCKET- Marsha (Wagner) Shaver, 84, of Woonsocket passed away on March 24, 2014. She was the wife of the late Dr. Arthur Shaver for sixty-three years.
Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Jean (Napsky) Wagner.
She is survived by her son Jeffrey and his wife Nadine of Providence and her daughter Dena Stern and her husband Dr. Jeffrey Stern of Stratham, NH. Marsha also leaves two grandchildren, Samantha and Skyler Stern and a twin sister, Elaine Winer of CA. She was the sister of the late Rae Sacks of FL.
Mrs. Shaver was a member of Congregation B'nai Israel, Woonsocket and its Sisterhood and Hadassah. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and together they went on over twenty-one cruises.
Her funeral will be held Friday, March 28, 2014 at Noon in Congregation B'nai Israel, 224 Prospect St., Woonsocket under the direction of the Chevra Kadisha and the Holt Funeral Home, 510 So. Main St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in B'nai Israel Cemetery, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Shiva will be held in the Holt Funeral Home on Friday from 4:30-6:30PM. In recognition of Marsha's kind hearted and compassionate manner, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the charity of one's choice or to Congregation B'nai Israel, Woonsocket.
