WOONSOCKET- Stella (Michalik) Swierk, 93, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Tuesday at the Friendly Home. She was the loving wife of the late Matthew Swierk.
Born January 31, 1921 in Uxbridge, MA., she was the daughter of the late John & Mary (Kieronski) Michalik.
Stella was a secretary for the Stanley Woolen Co. and then the former Taft Peirce Co. before retiring. She leaves a sister Rose Szerlag of Northbridge, MA. also several nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Peter, Bruno & Joseph Michalik and Helen Edge.
Her Funeral will be Friday(March 28th) at 1:00 P.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home, 35 Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Requiem Mass of Christian Burial at 2:30 P.M. in the Polish National Catholic Church of Our Saviour, 500 Smithfield Rd. Woonsocket, Burial will be in the parish Cemetery, Relatives & Friends are invited. A Visitation hour will be Friday afternoon, from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. before the Funeral Mass.
